Maxell Professional Disc, assuring superior picture quality, storage capacity, random access capability and XDCAM compatibility.
Maxell`s dual layer recording and higher recording density technology are realized in the large capacity 50GB professional disc, with twice the storage capacity of the single layer disc (23.3GB). The introduction of a new phase change recording layer realizes media that has both a highly durable recording surface and a very low error rate even after 1,000 recordings. Also the use of a highly accurate spin coating technology provides a smooth surface which offers stable and reliable performance in recording and playback.
The Professional Disc also employs a high precision molded cartridge and that combined with hard coating technology protects data from dust and scratches. The semi-transparent case and index cards provide better and easier handling in the filming and editing of materials.
